Taylor Deneen took on AZÁN during the show's battle round. They both performed Chloe x Halle’s “Do It."

During the round, coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and the duet’s own coach, John Legend, pick two members of their team to perform one song together. The better performance moves on to the knockout round.

“Taylor, I thought you were absolutely brilliant. To be honest, I didn’t hear anything wrong between the two of you,” Horan said after the performance. He added that Deneen has a high chance in the competition, but he was leaning more towards AZÁN.

Legend ultimately picked Deneen to move on to the next round.

“Taylor, I feel like you really came through,” the 12-time Grammy Award winner said. “You came out there and looked confident. You didn’t look like you were intimidated by this. Both of you made me so proud.”

During a backstage interview, Deneen said she felt blessed and thanked God for the opportunity.

“I’m going to knockouts! Whoo!” the singer yelled.

AZÁN isn’t going home yet either. She's also moving to knockouts after Horan used his steal on her. In the next round, three artists from each team perform in front of two team members. Winners will move on to the playoffs.

“The Voice” airs on NBC Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. and can be streamed on Peacock and FuboTV.
